Personal data
We collect and use personal data (including name, address, telephone number and email address) for the following purposes:

• to respond to inquiries or requests sent by you;
• to provide various services and send information about the services by e-mail or telephone;
• to process orders or requests received from you and prepare the offers you request;
• to administer or otherwise fulfill our obligations in relation to agreements between you and Carbuy;
• to prevent and solve problems related to the services provided to you.

You have the right to prohibit the processing of your personal data at any time, unless it is necessary to fulfill a requirement arising from the contract, including the provision of the service. Withdrawal of consent is not retroactive.

We do not share this personal data with third parties whose activities are not related to the provision or operation of the Carbuy service!

Direct marketing

If you have given your consent that your personal data may be used for advertising and marketing purposes, your data will be stored and used for direct marketing purposes, e.g. inviting you to participate in promotional games and sweepstakes and sending you newsletters and offers via the communication channel of your choice – post, sms, e-mail , social networks.

If you have disclosed your e-mail contact details to us during the sale of a service, we may use these contact details for direct marketing of our similar services. You have the right to refuse further use of your data for direct marketing purposes at any time.

Storage and security of personal data

Carbuy stores personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose or required by law. According to the law, we keep accounting data for 7 years after the end of the financial year. We will keep the e-mail address on the direct marketing list until you express your wish to remove it from it.

Carbuy implements all reasonable measures to protect the processed personal data. Only authorized persons have access to change and process personal data, and personal data of all users is treated as confidential information.

You have the right at any time:

• express a wish to access your data;
• demand correction, addition, transfer or deletion of personal data under the conditions prescribed by law;
• request restriction of processing of personal data;
• prohibit the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes.

To exercise your rights, you must send a corresponding request to the e-mail address info@carbuy.ee. The application or withdrawal of consent is not retroactive. In order to avoid misuse of your data and rights, applications are only allowed to be submitted in a form where the applicant’s identity can be identified (sent from an e-mail address registered in our database, digitally signed or in person at Carbuy). Carbuy has the right to respond to such requests within 30 days.

To limit the use of cookies, the user can make the corresponding settings under the settings of his web browser.

Changing the Privacy Policy

Carbuy, the processor responsible for personal data, reserves the right to change the privacy terms unilaterally and without notice. If you have any questions regarding the use of your personal data, you have the right to contact us at info@carbuy.ee at any time.
